Created to show the details of various parts of Japanese culture and food from both the cultural and scientific point of view.

And also nothing is better than a little self experimenting.

Hence, added here are a few tried and tested tips and recipes straight from Japan for you to try and enjoy.

Why the name “A Long Tamago….”?

One of the first things you learn in any culinary school is eggs aka. TAMAGO in Japanese.

So, a long tamago…. because due to the current scenario (24th July 2020: The year where the great corona pandemic is shaking the world and also the time when we decided to come up with this blog) none of us are sure where we will end up and Japan felt like like a dream for us. Hence “a long time ago….” as in fairy tales which hopefully will have a happy ending (with us going back to Japan) plus tamago, the first, simple yet diverse ingredient in the culinary world.
